Well we've officially found name we love!
We went to the doctor this morning for 24 week check up I'm not actually 24 weeks til Friday, but she's right now target for her due date. Mad is due April 9th. Just one more appointment and I'm down to every 2 weeks going to the doctor. She'll be here before we know it. We've decided to do a cherry blossom theme, we'll have the room painted a pastel pink with a big cherry blossom tree paint by my mom...I can't wait. We got the crib about a month ago its beautiful. Due to all my wonderful friends we've already got alot fo things I wasn't expecting to have at all. Thanks to Chrissy, Nicole, and Kristin they all let me borrow or have given things for the baby. Can't wait to see this beautiful little angel. E. talks about her all the time he's very excited and ready for her to be here right now. She's constantly moving and as of yesterday I was able to start watching her kick me from the outside, one of my favorite parts of pregnancy. More updates to come...hehehe

20 weeks preggo!
We're halfway there. We found out yesterday that it's a girl! I'm beyond excited, we've started narrowing down names and planning the room. It's been a busy past few months since my last update. E. spent a week in Lubbock at the beginning of November and as soon as he got home we decorated for Christmas. Its just so much more fun when the Christmas season is longer than a month. We are ready for cold weather and all that comes with it. E's been planning his Christmas for the past few months and know exactly what he wants. A Pixar Cars book...that's it not sure why he wants just that but it makes me proud to know he doesn't feel like he needs more toys. We've emptied out what used to be my office space and have started gathering baby things. We found out E's crib was recalled so we got $300 for babiesrus and got a new one for free YEAH! That should be available for pick up any day now. Time is flying and we're getting more excited each day. E is now really getting into being a big brother everything he does he says " I'm being a big boy so I can show my sister I'm her big brother" so sweet. Though when we found out the sex I told E it's a girl and he says "what about my brother?" and I said no its a sister, he looks and me and says " dadgummit mom." No joke he was serious, but once he found the babies first onesie he got excited. Once we figure out a name I'll post it up. We have a pretty good list going of full names. E says the name for his sister is "baby." Keep ya posted.

Baby Appt #2
Went to the doctor this morning and the baby is doing great the sonogram tech even said that it might be alittle bigger than expected right now, but they aren't changing my due date she just said the baby might be a alittle ahead growth. The baby was moving around alot today it even turned itself upside down on its head. As of today I'm 11 weeks and 3 days! Morning sickness is starting to calm down I've actually lost 7 lbs since my last Doctor appointment a month ago. The doctor said that was nothing to worry about since the baby is doing so well with growth. We also got to hear the heartbeatm which was very good. E was very excited to get to see the baby move around, he's talking about this baby like he just found out something new. Other than that everything seems to be going well I had been feeling alot of discomfort, but the doctor confirmed that it all has to do with ligments moving and stretching so all is good now. My next appointment is Oct. 19 so I'll keep ya posted if there's any changes between now and then.

Party never ends!

Ethan turned 3 last week and it was quite an eventful week. On Monday we celebrated his birthday just a few of us. It was a quietday for the most part but once he opened up his big gift that was all over. Devin and I got E. the Smart Cycle which is a kids size stationary bike that connects to the tv and has different educational games you can connect to it for learning and fun. He loves it though he's still learning how to pedal forwards that's his new challenge. He also got Lincoln logs from my family which he really loves having houses and garages built for his toys he's still learning how to use them by himself. Then this past Saturday E. had his birthday party that was cars themed. Sadly only on friend came and his babysitters but he seemed pretty happy with that he has asked me everyday since he turned 3 when his party is even though he had one Saturday and then he keeps telling Devin and I what he wants fo rhis birthdya..lol. He's not really clear on the once a year thing. He's been home with me now for a month and really seems to be enjoying our time together. He's taking long naps almost every day and really loves his school time with me. We are currently learning the ABC's and how to spell his first and last name and how to spell cat and dog. He's learning to write a few letters a month and definitely understands his shapes now to work on drawing them is the hard part. We started going to the library at least once a week which has been really been exciting for E. we usually borrow about 10 books at a time and he's just so excited every time we go. We've also been going to watch free movies once a week and that's very fun for both of us. E. has started to push his boundaries and he thinks he knows our limits its been a rouch month with discipline, but I think we are starting to get the hang it. In June E. was officially fully potty trained very exciting only time we put diapers on him is at night just incase of an accident. He really seems to be growing into a little man I'm so proud.

Those were the days
Friday, July 10, 2009
So in 3 days E. will be officially 3 years old. Can't believe it 3 really....only I can believ eit because starting about 3 weeks ago he began the trechorious 3's I've heard of from other parents. He's suddenly incapable of listening to anything. We had rules but....E. forgot what they were. Time out haha he laughs in the face of time out, today I put him in time out and turned off what we was watching on the tv and he tells me to turn his show back on so he can watch it while he's in time out. That's not time out, what is the deal. That's jsut hte beginning of craziness in our house, he's beena super easy kids not saying he's that different, he' s just exhausting. One minute he calm and laid back the next he's running around the house like a chicken with his head cut off and yelling things that dont make a lick of sense. Oh and currently he finds it very entertaining to act like a dog ine very way possible including asking us to put him on a leash...your thinking oh well that could help calm him down...hahaha you're so wrong he's still insane when he's done. Oh and he's learned to use the computer so you can wake up to him opening my laptop adn trying to get into my stuff...perfect!!!
Anyways all in all he's really progress and doing well and I think that' why limits are being tested so much. He's getting better and better at doing puzzles, he can even do some puzzles that require the computer its very interesting to watch him think through everything right now, you can see every little gadget in his head working. On a side note I'm staying at home with E. full time right now, daycares so expensive. Its really fun being home with him all the time, I wish I could have had that time when he was younger too. That's probably why I'm alittle more aware of his attitude changes since I'm with him 24/7. Well other than that eveyrthing is going well, just busy chasing E. everywhere. Hope eveyrone is doing well.
